How to Decorate your Home with Candles

Candles are mostly considered a source of illumination but still make for an important part of home décor. They add a mystic ambience to any room. Different kind of candles bring their own unique energy and that depends a lot on where you place them too. Multi-coloured candles are a good option when you are considering them for the bathrooms. You may place it in a large glass bowl with floating petals to add a sophisticated flair. If the arts and craft bug bites you, bring out your stencils to create artwork on the coloured candles and carve designs that resonate with you. Try adding some glass beads and other embellishments to enhance it further.

Candles, especially the tealight variety look beautiful on the dining table but when you’re setting the mood for a candlelight dinner, be sure to not use the scented ones. While that can enhance the ambience it will be at the cost of your food’s best taste. Candles add a soft and intimate feeling to bedrooms. You can place them on nightstands or windowsills for creating a nightly warm glow. They add a classy and old age appeal to even the most urban and contemporary setting.
